• Accompaniment for recitals, recordings and exams (ABRSM, Trinity College etc.)

    Rehearsals go from 30 minutes to 2 hours and can be at any location with a good-quality piano and space.

    Accompaniment rehearsals for exams can also include coaching to enhance candidates’ performing confidence. Aural skills training is optional.

    Fees depend on the difficulty of the pieces and the amount of time for each session.

  • Consulting / Master Classes last from 45 to 90 minutes. They support pupils who have been learning with another teacher and who would like additional advice on specific technical and/or interpretative questions.

  • From a 1-hour Classical music recital to performing at weddings, the repertoire will vary according to what your preferences are.

    Long advance notice must be given for very specific music requests to ensure high musical quality.

    Fees vary according to the length of the performance and pieces required.

  • Juliette Philogene teaches piano and theory at Erskine Stewart Melville Schools and privately. She currently has no vacancies for new pupils for the year 2023-24.

    Individual piano lessons (or music theory lessons) run from 30 to 90 minutes face-to-face or online, for every age from 7 years-old onwards.

    Lessons cover music reading, finger technique development, ear training and rhythmic exercises towards learning pieces of Classical music as well as from the jazz era and pop culture.

    Lessons for piano duets are also available.

    Any review of recordings for exams/recitals are also counted as a music lesson. 

    Sheet music and workbooks are to be purchased by the pupils.
